Invaluable: Classy Girls Get Vintage Pearls from Online Auction Site

Some people think you can overdo it with your accessories.  But my philosophy is the exact opposite.  Nothing is too sparkly to wear for day and at night, I always say the bigger the better!  Accessories can take a plain, boring look into a stunning and stylish outfit.  When I don't know what jewelry to wear, I always default to pearls.  You could even say I'm a "pearl girl."  The sophisticated classiness of pearls go with every outfit.  Pearls have been my go-to for as long as I could remember.

My signature pearl accessories have a vintage feel, which is classically refreshing.  I came across a website where you can get vintage jewelry and fine antiques online called Invaluable.  It's a really cool online auction marketplace for precious valuables like jewelry.  Bidders get access to a virtual database of the world's premiere auction houses.  Millions of people score estate items and jewelry from Invaluable each year.
Invaluable wouldn't be complete without pearl jewelry, obviously.  When you search for "pearls" you get more than 2,000 results!

A Beautiful Smile with Chanel Rouge Allure Lip Colour

Sometimes you can put a smile on your face with a great new lip color.  You may even make someone else smile too when you treat your lips to a luxurious new lip gloss from Chanel.  With the intensity of a lipstick and the shine of a lip gloss, Chanel Rouge Allure Colour & Shine Lip Gloss will add instant elegance to your look.  My favorite one is Seduction #18, the perfect shade of red with a hint of hot pink mixed into the long-wear vitamin E formula.

Not only did I get compliments on my new Chanel lip gloss, I feet classier and, I'm not even kidding, more cheerful and confident in Chanel.  It's not hard to smile when you click open the gold "CC" top of gloss case, which is also really beautiful.  It's true, a little touch of Chanel, even something as small as lip gloss, is sometimes all your need to elevate your mood.
This product was sent to me by People StyleWatch for testing purposes.  My opinions expressed in this post are 100% honest.

Nordstrom Beauty Trend Show 2013: Chanel Makeup Tips

A select group of girls got to hear from Chanel's global makeup artist, John Fussell, at Nordstrom Galleria Dallas during the Beauty Trend Show.  He spilled his celebrity makeup tips and trust me, I wrote them all down to share with you stylistas!  Here are his top 5 tips:
 1. "Airbrush" your blush with your foundation brush.
2. Contour with light, not dark.  Light creates illusion and looks expensive.
3. When you wear black, it pulls out the warmth of the skin, so wear bronzer.
 4. Match your blush color with the color of your fingertip.
5. The nail trend this season is the darker the color, the shorter the nail is supposed to be.
Couldn't make the Trend Show?  No Problem!  Shop Chanel makeup from Nordstrom below!

Project Emilie: Just Chillin' and Lookin' Fab

Emilie looks so fabulous in her Chanel-esque cardigan (from Target!) and her faux pearl necklace (from Forever 21!).  I got the ensemble for her for Christmas.  I got my polka dot pants at JCP for $27!  It's no secret that we love a good fashion deal.

Classy Cap Toes

A huge trend I've been loving while working at the Nordstrom women's shoes department is the cap toe.  They're classy, sophisticated, and remind me a lot of Chanel.  This is for sure a trend I'll be sporting this fall.

Out and About in Chicago

Between groomsmaid duties and getting my false lashes put on for David and Ben's wedding, I had a little time to do what I do best.  I couldn't go to Chicago and not walk the Magnificent Mile!  Chicago is a serious stylista city.  I did some damage at H&M, Zara, Topshop, and the gigantic Ulta!  And I drooled over the shoes at Stuart Weitzman and Chanel.

I ♥ Chanel

My love for Chanel is deep.  In Paris last year, I made my first Chanel purchase - sunglasses!  It was like a spiritual experience, I cried when I saw Coco's famous mirrored staircase.  Even though I bought the sunglasses, I don't have the cash to buy Chanel all the time.  But I love getting the Chanel look, and you can too!

Chanel Quilted Crossbody
My stylist BFF at Nordstrom, Chris Ayton, was telling me about one of his client's fabulous Chanel quilted crossbody bag.  He said, "It's Scrum-del-i-icious."  So get the scrum-del-i-icious look with a quilted crossbody too!

Chanel: It's Fabulous, Dahling

I don't think there's a designer I love more than Chanel.  A friend of my friend's mom gave me this vintage Chanel jacket.  It's ultra-boxy and kinda 80's, but it looks chic and youthful when put with shorts.  Since blazers are so "in" this spring, I'm excited to wear it this season!

Fabulous Dahling, just like Patsy Stone

No one is more inspiring to classy stylistas than Coco Chanel.  Black and white are staples in my wardrobe.  Always clean, classy, and modern.  Tres chic!

Coat Wonderland

This winter, I'm obsessed with coats! My favorite part about coats is that they're an investment: you can buy a coat and wear it for years.  So I'm always more drawn to the classic styles. These are a few of my favorite new styles for the season.
Classy Coat: Macy's INC

I love this black and white coat I just got!  The white trim is so Chanel-esque!

Sophisticated Jacket: Nordstrom, Marc by Marc Jacobs

This pale blue Marc Jacobs jacket is acutally a sweater, but looks like a Chanel suit jacket!
Chic Coat: Nordstrom, Marc by Marc Jacobs

"The Marc" is one of my favorite coats for it's gold buttons and embroidery.  It's a classic trench with unique twists.

Edgy Jacket: Nordstrom, Alexander McQueen

We all love Alexander McQueen for his edgy, out of this world designs.  This style is classic and trendy at the same time.  I love velvet, so luxurious!

I love huge costume rings, so much fun!

Fabulous with a Jean Paul Gaultier scarf.

Glam Coat: Betsey Johnson

This Betsey Johnson is so chic with faux leather stripes!  This is a classic you can wear every winter.
Fierce Faux Fur Coat: Nordstrom, Gallery

Faux fur is obviously a huge deal this year, my favorite is leopard!

Worn throughout: Stuart Weitzman Boots (similar style at Nordstrom), Chanel sunglasses
