Nordstrom Anniversary Pre-Select Starts Today!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Pre-Select starts today (if you have a Nordstrom card) through July 18!  This is my favorite time of the year at Nordstrom because I get all of my fall fashions at a discounted rate... who doesn't love that?  So if you want your fall boots and fabulous coats, you better get them now.  If you don't have a Nordstrom card, open one up so you can shop the Pre-Select or shop in-store and online starting July 20!  Remember, I'm a salesperson in Women's Shoes at the Galleria Dallas, and I would love to help you stylistas with your fall wardrobe!

Project Emilie: Chicago Extravaganza

Emilie recently said, "everyone knows about my modeling career."  As a Project Emilie fan, I think you'll be happy to know that her modeling career was taken to the next level in a new city: Chicago.  My cousin (Emilie's nephew), David, got married, and we were excited to celebrate his wedding in style!

 After the reception, Emilie wanted to take the elevator.  I told her our fashion blog readers would be more impressed if she took the stairs like she does at Larry North Fitness, and she agreed, "you're right."

Look Du Jour: MAC False Lashes

OMG stylistas, I made a new discovery - false lashes.  I know, I may be a little behind on this trend (and believe me, that's rare!).  I'm so happy I bought my first pair of MAC lashes at Nordstrom to wear to my cousin's wedding because I thought I could use a little more fabulous.  But now I want to wear fake lashes every day!  When you need a little pick-me-up, pop on some false lashes.  They sure are cheaper than going on a shopping spree!

And the best part is, you can put them on by yourself, all you need is lash glue.  You can reuse MAC lashes several times, just retire them when they lose their shape.

Out and About in Chicago

Between groomsmaid duties and getting my false lashes put on for David and Ben's wedding, I had a little time to do what I do best.  I couldn't go to Chicago and not walk the Magnificent Mile!  Chicago is a serious stylista city.  I did some damage at H&M, Zara, Topshop, and the gigantic Ulta!  And I drooled over the shoes at Stuart Weitzman and Chanel.
