You've probably heard about Kate Spade's #TravelColorfully campaign featuring an exotic city each month.  They recently did Monaco... that means glamour, royalty, and FAST CARS.  The red racecar-covered Kate Spade "Coreen" Skirt is perfect for your next adventure.

Are you planning a summer road trip?

a-thread: Look Good and Do Good

Don't you just love buying cute clothes for a cause?  a-thread, an LA-based online boutique, offers unique, chic, and affordable fashions, while donating 5% of sales to charity.  Cute clothes AND charity... I'm so in!

Do you ever debate about what size to get when shopping online?  Another cool part about a-thread is that they give you the measurements for each size to ensure you're getting the best fit.  It may not be as good as charity, but it's helpful when shopping online.

To learn more about the charities a-thread contributes to, check out their website.  To be a part of the giving, shop 'til you drop.  "LOOK good and DO good" with some of these items I'm obsessed with from a-thread!

GotCha! Krystal Sarna (Part 2)

One of my favorite stylistas on campus, my friend Krystal Sarna, stunned in a sheer skirt (get the look from ASOS!).

Krystal and I are both sophomores at SMU / fashion bloggers.  She recently started her own fashion blog, Krystal Clear Fashion; check it out, stylistas!

Look Du Jour: Schoolgirl Chic

There's nothing preppier than a cute oxford.  The oxford is one of the most versatile shoes of the season.  Wear these now with shorts and sundresses.  Wear them with tights and skinny jeans in the winter.  I for sure need a pair for this semester.  It's like I took these from my school uniforms for many years - only these are way more fabulous!

Nordstrom Shoe Must Haves

I'm a salesperson in Women's Shoes at Nordstrom Galleria Dallas.  If you're in Dallas this summer and need help picking out shoes, I'd be happy to assist you.  Just ask for me, Alex Small!

Here are some of my favorites right now for summer.  And don't forget about the Anniversary Sale starting July 20th!  It's the best time to get your brand-new fall shoes and fashions pre-marked down.  If you have a Nordstrom credit or debit card, you can get your hands on everything before your friends starting July 11th.  If you don't have a Nordstrom card, I'll help you open one.  Contact me to set up an appointment.  Trust me stylistas, you need to do the pre-sale - there are so many shoes you need to complete your fall wardrobe!

Project Emilie: Chicago Extravaganza

Emilie recently said, "everyone knows about my modeling career."  As a Project Emilie fan, I think you'll be happy to know that her modeling career was taken to the next level in a new city: Chicago.  My cousin (Emilie's nephew), David, got married, and we were excited to celebrate his wedding in style!

Emilie and I want to teach you stylistas how to steal our style, so shop our photoshoot with the pink links below the pics.

After the reception, Emilie wanted to take the elevator.  I told her our fashion blog readers would be more impressed if she took the stairs like she does at Larry North Fitness, and she agreed, "you're right."
Em was sick of the paparazzi by the time we got in the taxi

Out and About in Chicago

Between groomsmaid duties and getting my false lashes put on for David and Ben's wedding, I had a little time to do what I do best.  I couldn't go to Chicago and not walk the Magnificent Mile!  Chicago is a serious stylista city.  I did some damage at H&M, Zara, Topshop, and the gigantic Ulta!  And I drooled over the shoes at Stuart Weitzman and Chanel.
