Visit Shoe Expert Michael Fiorendino @ Nordstrom Stonebriar

One of my dear friends, Michael Fiorendino, has a beautiful sole... and so can you!  Visit him this summer during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco.  Michael has been a "Nordy" (slang for Nordstrom employee) for a long time, and I was lucky enough to work with him seasonally in the women's shoes department.  Michael is now a highly-demanded salesman in kid's shoes at Stonebriar - that means he has a lot of patience and will assist you with your all of shoe needs.  Plus, he has exceptional taste.  Because of his extensive experience in shoes, he's an expert in both kid's and women's shoes.  So your kids aren't the only ones who can experience Michael's excellent customer service.    

If you have a Nordstrom credit, debit, or Visa card you can shop the sale before your friends, who aren't Nordy-insiders through, Thursday July 17.  On July 18, the sale opens to the public and it will run through August 3.

In case you forgot, the Anniversary Sale is the biggest sale of the fall season, before fall even gets here.  Nordstrom's new fall merchandise is already marked down before it hits the floor.  You can stock up on your fall staples and trendy pieces at a fraction of the price.  It's by far my favorite sale of the year.

DKNY is #NotYourOrdinary

DKNY is known for providing for all of our fashion needs.  It's so easy to build a head-to-toe DKNY look.  But if you want to add a little oomph to your outfits without buying a new wardrobe, try DKNY's Grommet Sneaker.  They're so "in" right now, plus they make you taller!

Saks' Spring 2013 Shoes

It's no secret that I am obsessed with SHOES.  When Saks was showing their spring 2013 shoes at their Galleria Dallas store, I just had to see them!  One of the salespeople emphasized some of the top trends for the season: 1) bright colors 2) pointed toes 3) no platforms.  Enjoy the pretty shoes!

Small 4 Style Meets Vince Camuto

Vince Camuto made a trip to Dallas last weekend to celebrate his new fall collection at Dillard's Northpark.  He couldn't have been nicer or more willing to autograph shoes and get photos with fans.  After telling him about my seasonal work at the Nordstrom shoe department, he motioned for the company's President, Ed Ferrell, to talk to me.  Mr. Ferrell walked me through the top trends from the new season's fall line.  He emphasized mixed media, booties, and the design process.  It was really cool that he took the time to talk to me.  Mr. Camuto designs shoes for every occasion, but I'm loving this year's flats and riding boots for everyday chic style.   I wore my favorite Vince Camuto flat, "Fawna," when I met him.
