Dallas-based business Crystals on Fire is having a major sale beginning this week! I'm confident that designer Stephanie Berman has a sparkling creation that will be your new favorite. Crystals on Fire offers one of a kind Swarovski crystal jewelry, cell phone cases, and accessories. Crystals on Fire designer Stephanie has been in the business for several years, but lately it seems like she's literally on fire. Nordstrom Anniversary 2014... Fall Shopping Here I Come!

We all know it, love it, and have been saving up for it for months.  It's the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!  You're probably pretty familiar with this sale of the year, but just to refresh your memory: brand new fall merchandise on sale right when it hits the sales floor.  Need I say more?  Nordstrom cardholders earn double points with purchase this weekend, July 18-20.

Visit Shoe Expert Michael Fiorendino @ Nordstrom Stonebriar

One of my dear friends, Michael Fiorendino, has a beautiful sole... and so can you!  Visit him this summer during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco.  Michael has been a "Nordy" (slang for Nordstrom employee) for a long time, and I was lucky enough to work with him seasonally in the women's shoes department.  Michael is now a highly-demanded salesman in kid's shoes at Stonebriar - that means he has a lot of patience and will assist you with your all of shoe needs.  Plus, he has exceptional taste.  Because of his extensive experience in shoes, he's an expert in both kid's and women's shoes.  So your kids aren't the only ones who can experience Michael's excellent customer service.    

If you have a Nordstrom credit, debit, or Visa card you can shop the sale before your friends, who aren't Nordy-insiders through, Thursday July 17.  On July 18, the sale opens to the public and it will run through August 3.

In case you forgot, the Anniversary Sale is the biggest sale of the fall season, before fall even gets here.  Nordstrom's new fall merchandise is already marked down before it hits the floor.  You can stock up on your fall staples and trendy pieces at a fraction of the price.  It's by far my favorite sale of the year.

Grapevine Mills Makes Summer Sizzle Again in 2014

Grapevine Mills: long time, no see...seriously!  It had been nearly a year since attending a fashion event at Grapevine Mills.  But I couldn't stay away for that long - I did some spring shopping at Last Call at the beginning of the season.  The Last Call at Grapevine Mills is the best I've been to, by the way.

The Mills crew was nice enough to let me bring Emilie to a "real fashion event" as she said in anticipation several times over the weeks before the event.  She was even more excited because the event happened to fall on her birthday (June 12) and was another celebration.  Grapevine Mills has a team of friendly and fabulous people who make sure every shopping experience at Mills is a special one.  At the summer event, Leah Frazier, Dionne Dean, and Briana Roker were also in attendance.  They became Emilie's new "cool buddies" quickly!  These fashionable, gorgeous girls were so sweet to her, and it makes me love them all even more than I did before.

After mingling, we all headed over to Last Call for a mini summer runway presentation.  As soon as the last model finished her walk, the shoe-obsessed gals Leah, Dionne, and Briana sifted through designer kicks that were on major clearance at Last Call.  I returned that weekend and found at RED Valentino dress for $100 (normally about $600... find another cute one here).

Grapevine Mills is the home to tons of retailers, most of them name-brand stores with a discount.  It's only about 20-30 minutes from North Dallas and trust me... it'll be worth the trip!

They're also going to be starting a renovation with new stores this fall.  Mills really does mean more... especially Grapevine Mills!

Tootsies Presents Alice + Olivia's Latest Summer 2014 Collection

Tootsies recently highlighted the latest Alice + Olivia collection during a 3-day trunk show in Dallas.  Once again, Alice + Olivia proves that clothes can be whimsical with a bit of edge thrown in.  The collection was a mix of feminine silhouettes and streamlined styles.  The collection featured a mostly neutral color palette with pops of light pinks and the essential black and white.  One of the components that I really liked was the leather-trimmed details on the tops and pants.  And my favorite piece from the collection was the pink flamingo blouse, of course!    

I enjoyed being able to see and touch the clothes in person.  If you didn't get a chance to see the collection yet, stop by Tootsies at the Plaza at Preston Center in Dallas.  They have a great selection of the summer line as well as previous Alice + Olivia collections.  If you don't live in the Dallas area, you can also visit the Tootsies locations in Houston and Atlanta.  Plus, you can shop Tootsies' online boutique at Farfetch.

It's a Fashion Bash: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2013

The Salvation Army WEARhouse Sale this Wednesday and Thursday

Need a little study break this finals' week?  Well, I found the perfect event for de-stressing: the Salvation Army WEARhouse Sale!  Designer steals and deals will be everywhere at this sale.   All proceeds from the event will benefit the Salvation Army, which serves the community.  The sale is open to the public on Wednesday and Thursday (May 8 and 9) from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at 9216 Harry Hines Dallas, TX.

Watters Sample Sale Spring 2013

Watters & Watters had an AMAZING dress sample sale this past weekend in Dallas.  Bridesmaid dresses were only $10 and wedding dresses started at $99.  It was incredible.  Watters' PR guy, David Lopez, took me on a tour of the offices where they design and make sample dresses.  It was definitely one of my favorite fashion moments.

 

 

 

I went into the sale not planning on buying anything and ended up buying 4 gorgeous $10 dresses.   Thank you to Grant (my little brother) for taking pictures.  I paid him to work as my photographer for the event.

Nordstrom Anniversary Pre-Select Starts Today!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Pre-Select starts today (if you have a Nordstrom card) through July 18!  This is my favorite time of the year at Nordstrom because I get all of my fall fashions at a discounted rate... who doesn't love that?  So if you want your fall boots and fabulous coats, you better get them now.  If you don't have a Nordstrom card, open one up so you can shop the Pre-Select or shop in-store and online starting July 20!  Remember, I'm a salesperson in Women's Shoes at the Galleria Dallas, and I would love to help you stylistas with your fall wardrobe!
