Fashion Designer Tracy Reese

I met fashion designer Tracy Reese at Karl Marshall’s “Dallas in Wonderland” fashion extravaganza.  Looks from her fabulous Spring 2012 collection were showcased.   After the show, I approached Ms. Reese to ask her some questions.  She could not have been nicer and said, “Let’s go sit down!”  Ms. Reese was incredibly friendly, and wore a gorgeous gold dress that I wanted!  Tracy describes her style as “feminine and flirty,” which also fits her collection.  She is inspired by nature, art, and real people.  For fall 2011, she loves the faux fur trend as well as texture, which are some of my favorites.

Karl Marshall's "Dallas in Wonderland" Fashion Show

Karl Marshall’s “Dallas in Wonderland” show at the Dallas Market Center was one of the chicest event of the season. “Dallas in Wonderland” was a whimsical showcase of the newest trends for spring 2012. The exclusive fashion show featured 136 looks from DMC exhibitors, as well as Tracy Reese’s spring 2012 collection.

The Front row was reserved for Neiman Marcus and the Ritz Group!  So Chic!

The show was divided into 9 scenes, ending with Tracy Reese’s fabulous collection. My favorite scene was called “Soft Kiss,” which featured beautiful crème-colored dresses, ending with a spectacular silver dress. Unique florals, pearls, and feminine silhouettes will be definitely be “in” this spring.

After the show, I was so excited and speechless. Being at this event was like nothing I had ever experienced before. As an aspiring buyer, this was such a fabulous opportunity for me. Thank you, Karl!
